SCOUTING SUPPORT

Gilmour Council #310 actively supports the Boy Scout troop at the Church of St Clare. Several of the knights have had sons in the troop. The knights manage the troop’s Lenten Fish Fries, the troop’s primary fundraising effort. The gymnasium at Corpus Christi Academy houses the fries on Fridays in Lent.

Council #310 also supports the projects undertaken by Eagle Scouts. The two most recent projects involved enhancement of the grounds of local churches. Shown here at left is Eagle Scout Clinton Sansonetti, who petitioned the council for financial assistance, with Mom, Grand Knight Shaun White and Deputy Grand Knight Tom Wieland.
