Gilmour #310 boasts an active membership that conducts more than 40 activities annually. These events range in character: fund-raising (special needs), serving food (parish festivals, underprivileged), visitations (veterans, troubled kids, bereavement), awarding tuition assistance (parish schools, seminarians), praying the rosary, conducting free throw contests for youths, participating in food and clothing drives, and participating in pro-life activities are mixed in with social events like family picnics, clambakes, golf and bowling leagues, Christmas parties, dinners, and football parties on its big screen. Sherwin-Gilmour Party Center includes a newly renovated upper room where Brother Knights can meet, plan, play cards, and even shoot some pool.  Gilmour Council is a powerful and recognizable presence in the Hillcrest community, fostering men united in the Faith. Gilmour will continue Fr. Michael McGivney's dream: ensuring the spread of Columbianism, becoming more visible through the good works of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism, and creating an atmosphere that encourages and calls all Catholic men to serve with their brothers.
